Summer Camp 2015
We had a GREAT time conducting our 2-week Art camp at City Hope summer camp in St. Jamestown in July. We had fun with 35 kids all doing their own self-portrait
We sent 8 children from Kingston Galloway neighbourhood to Camp Expressions at Cedar Ridge Creative Centre in August. Here is what some of them had to say about camp.
“My favourite class is draw and paint and my project – underwater dinosaurs because it’s cool and fun!” Dashawn

“I want to go to art camp so I can learn how to draw art so when I get older I can teach people how to do art and then if they get older THEY can teach people how to do art”
Tea for Two – THANK YOU!!
We had a full house. Thanks to EVERYONE who attended and the many companies who donated their time and goods to help us make this a huge success. Can’t wait until next year.
Springtime Tea for Two ~ Saturday May 9th at 1:30pm
Celebrate Spring and Mother’s day. Come and enjoy an afternoon of High tea and delectable desserts and treats!
2-hour seated Gourmet tea $35 per person or $65 for two. Proceeds will be used to sponsor 10 children to Camp Expressions for 2 weeks this summer!
Let’s Send Kids to Artstravaganza Kickstarter project – We did it! We made our Goal and raised $3,644 for our Spring programs on Kickstarter!! Thanks to each of you who helped make this a reality. Together we have already impacted the lives of these children in Toronto.

January 26, 2015 – Our Gems had a great time at their impromptu ‘Who Am I’ wire sculpture class learning how to create a picture of their face using wire and other items.
